Sky Missing Rottweiler

Sky was stolen on Wednesday 2nd December 2015 from her owners pub, The Smawthorne Hotel on Smawthorne Lane in Castleford, West Yorkshire in the early hours of Wednesday 2nd December 2015. A beautiful adult Rottweiler sky is black and tan and microchipped with a long tail.

Mick Robinson her owner has launched a relentless campaign to not only find Sky but to raise awareness of dog theft. With a face book page “Get Sky Home” racking up nearly 8000 supporters and daily blogs on social media of just how hard life has been without his beloved Sky by his side. Mick has appeared highlighting Sky’s theft and the ongoing problem of dog theft on tv including BBC Look North and numerous local newspapers have taken Micks plea seriously reporting on her theft and the huge epidemic that is dog theft. Mick says of the media support, this is a huge step in us getting somewhere towards the authorities recognising that dog theft is at epidemic proportions. It's not just about Sky it's every single lost and stolen dog in the country that needs our help and the media are the way forward without a doubt. so many Rottweiler's have been  ruled out in the search for Sky, every single one being checked by Mick or a supporter of Get Sky Home. The search for Sky taking him all over the country,  9 months the search continues and will do so until sky is home. .
