Young Boy’s Puppy Snatched in the Street by Heartless Thief
Yorkshire terrier Jessie was grabbed from the young boy by a heartless thief outside a Lidl branch in New Addington, Croydon.
A stranger asked to stroke the dog being hold by Niko Novak. Trusting Niko, 10, agreed but after he handed Jessie over, the man ran off with the five-month-old dog.
Niko’s mum Monika had given Jessie to three-year-old son Nathan to help his recovery from the heart attack and open heart surgery he had when he was just five months old.
Monica, 28, of New Addington, South London, said Nathan – who still has to travel to Great Ormond Street Hospital to check his heart is working properly – has been left distraught by the theft last Friday.
