Dakota is a 6 year old Siberian Husky who went missing from Lisburn, Belfast on 10th November 2015
He is now presumed stolen.
Malachy, Dakotas owner together with Dog Theft Actions Northern Ireland volunteer Tara Ferris have launched an exhausting FB campaign to try to locate Dakota.. to date with no success. Dakota has been with his owner since he was 6 weeks old, microchipped and intact he is a striking boy his training and recall being second to none and he regularly walked off lead. Dakota is a friendly gentle boy living with many other dogs he is the ideal family companion, loving children and nothing more than curling up for cuddles and fuss. Dakota disappeared on his regular walk at Stoneyford reservoir, he had been running on ahead of the other dogs on his walk and disappeared. his owners together with volunteers hunted day and night for Dakota with no success a Face Book page was created to highlight his disappearance posters were handed out in the area and the team leading the hunt for Dakota have travelled hundreds of miles at reports of possible sightings or Siberian Huskies found in the pound all have been investigated. Dakotas owners will never give up on the search for him.. dedicated owners and dog lovers in their search for Dakota they came across a Siberian Husky in the pound and though not there boy they saved him from being destroyed .. though a happy ending for one dog.. it's not Dakota and the search continues
